A Little Book Porn Never Hurt Anybody

Hello marvelous, amazing, beautiful, horrific, and intoxicating world. My name is Sara and I am a 21-year-old book nerd who lives, breathes, eats, and sleeps books. I am interested in several things all of which I won't mention for the allure of being mysterious, and I am honestly just too lazy to exercise my mind in that manner. I have a fear of people which is weird, I know, because people are everywhere. But I just don't have the social skills to talk to them or relate to them so I decided to make a blog because, what better way to voice my opinions and interests without actually voicing them?

Songs that remind me of The Fault in Our Stars

iam-dauntless-iam-brave:

  1. Amsterdam - Imagine Dragons (Before, I could listen to this song normally without feeling like I was dying, then I read tfios)
  2. It’s Time - Imagine Dragons
  3. The River - Imagine Dragons
  4. Round & Round - Imagine Dragons
  5. I Don’t Mind - Imagine Dragons
  6. Selene - Imagine Dragons

Basically because I continuously listened to these songs while I was reading TFiOS and they just get me so emotional goodbye

Somewhere in the back of Clary’s mind she saw black eyes and whip marks, but she didn’t know why. He’s your brother. He’s your brother, and he’s always taken care of you.

what if someone wrote a book and the plot was basically amazing and the characters were awesome and at the end of the book, you’re dying to know what happens, all you see is a ripped page and the author actually did it on purpose and you’ll never know what happens because all the other published copies are like that too

calm down satan

So I got it in my head this morning to draw this scene. Where Valentine tells Sebastian why his mother is gone. I wanted it to be authentic so I got @CassieClare to write the dialog!

So.. totally canon scene right here. This is how it went down.

aka. holy crap Valentine could you be a worse father?

Finally read A Fault in Our Stars by John Green and I am remarkably sure that it has become my new favorite book. That’s right, folks. It bumped off Pride and Prejudice.

I’m still feeling the aftershock of emotion and there’s far to much to merely express to an entire website of people in words but just know that if you happen to come across this glorious piece of literature, do yourself a favor and read it.
